Thank you so much for your consideration of Jayne Michael as your photography mentor in your artistic education and journey.  If you value investing in knowledge, then you understand that mentoring sessions are fundamental if you wish to grow into the artist you dream of becoming.

YOU DECIDE WHAT YOU WANT TO FOCUS ON DURING YOUR SESSION.

If you want to master your studio photography, this in-person 1:1 Mentoring Session is for you.  You will completely customize an eight hour long experience with Jayne Michael at her studio in Bloomfield, NJ for your solo workshop.  Spend this time however you prefer - vision, preparation, styling, models, studio lighting, post processing, etc.  Below are some suggestions for topics that can be covered.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

30 minute virtual meeting to customize your mentoring session

A full 8 hour day covering any of the above topics

Your choice of genre for the photoshoot (child, maternity, or motherhood)

Hands on shooting with 2 models

Lunch & snacks are provided

Editing 1-2 images from start to finish

60 minute follow up call approximately 4 weeks following for Q&A and image critique

2:1 MENTORING - $2100
3:1 MENTORING - $2400

Participants are required to find their mentoring partners.

REQUIREMENTS

This mentoring session is not for beginners.  You must have knowledge of photography, your DSLR and it's manual settings with proper exposure, strobe lighting, and editing programs such as Lightroom and Photoshop.  You will be asked to bring your camera and lens, either 50mm or 24-70mm, a laptop and notebook.  

There is no mileage restriction, however if you reserve a mentoring session with Jayne Michael, you cannot currently provide photography education or tools such as actions or presets, and you may not embark on offering photography education or tools for a period of one calendar year from your last session with Jayne Michael.  

TERMS & CONDITIONS

By booking this mentoring session, your agree to the below terms and conditions.

*A 50% deposit is required upon enrolling and is non-refundable.  Remaining balance is due 10 priors prior to your scheduled session.  In the event you cannot attend, you are offered one reschedule based on availability.  The request to reschedule must be made at two weeks prior to your original session date and your balance must be paid in full to reserve a new date.  All payments made are non-refundable but are transferable.

*Attendees are responsible for their own lodging and travel expenses.  Please note, any travel or accommodation costs will not be refunded for canceled sessions.

*Attendee(s) are not permitted to use images taken at the workshop for commercial purposes, to advertise photoshoots, workshops, products, or mentoring/education/editing services.  Images taken may not be used in competition, exhibitions, or any other type of photography submission.  Images may only be used to showcase your portfolio on your website and social media pages.  You agree that you may be subject to legal liability if you use any images from your mentoring session in any of these restricted ways.  

*Attendee(s) must not film or record the workshop at any time without permission.  Jayne Michael Photography reserves the right to take photographic or film records of any of our mentoring sessions, and may use such records for promotional and/or commercial purposes.  

*Any and all information and materials provided by Jayne Michael is intended for your personal use and may not be shared, altered, edited, distributed, posted online, given or sold to any person, including any entity, company, charity, organization, or school for any purpose without the express written permission of Jayne Michael Photography.  

*Jayne Michael Photography is not responsible for any personal injury or damage to property arising form incidents occurring at the mentoring session.
